Standards Based Software

Standards are so important in software development to ensure the interoperability of software and hardware across different platforms and geographic boundaries. Deputy is built to the de-facto standard for HTTP - RFC 2616.

Unfortunately some browsers and servers are not developed to the standard exactly but we've carried out extensive testing to ensure that Deputy works with as many of these rogues as possible.
