Q. Why would a company offer free certificates when so many companies are making lots of money out of them?

A. Precisely for that reason. Certificates cost nothing to produce and very little to maintain yet we are expected to pay up to £400 for these files! Instead of complaining about it we decided to do something proactive and offer free SSL certificates to everyone.

Q. So what's the catch?

A. There is no catch. We simply want to make security more accessible. There is absolutely no reason why it should cost so much to make the Internet a safer place.
