We have developed a system that captures geographic information relating to IP addresses. We have historically used this system internally in our mail server software to provide incredibly effective spam reduction mechanisms.

You could also use this service to automatically configure international versions of your site.

You may have noticed other companies offering information down to city level, but it is quite often wrong - country level is as good as it gets. We don't make such outrageous claims but one claim we can back up is that our database is updated on a daily basis to ensure incredibly accurate information!
